I’m Stan Wolcott,

I started my web business primarily out of frustration. I looked at lots of web sites and found that the sites I really liked cost way more than I could afford. Since my educational and business experience was design and media, I thought I can do this myself and so I began putting together sites that I liked which were effective yet combined art as well as functionality and thus began WolcottWebWorx.

Like many others, I tried the “free” web sites and there are many of them, but they just didn’t have the look and feel that I was looking for. In fact I found that I was creating sort of a “negative image” because the site looked like a free site. So, do yourself a favor, when you’re ready for a web presence for your company, don’t create a negative image. Often “free” web sites and some “do-it-yourself” programs create the wrong image for your business. Yes, I know they’re less expensive in the short run, but when all is said and done they can cost you big time.
